In this video, I provide a presentation on "The State of the Semiconductor Industry". Semiconductors are "The New Oil". These awe-inspiring devices power everything around us. Every megatrend you can imagine is fueled by semis, and this video breaks down the industry and outlook.

This video provides the following:

1. An overview of the semiconductor industry.
2. A granular breakdown of the 8 primary segments of the industry with example companies and stock picks for each.
3. Statistical data regarding GDP, jobs, categories, and sector growth.
4. A breakdown of the Chips Act with a full list of benefits and a map of all future US semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
5. Discussion of the macroeconomic backdrop, including past, present, and future outlook over the next decade.
6. Fab issues and the future.
7. What's next for technology, business, and geopolitics.

In a nutshell, this video will help you understand the semiconductor industry and provide insight as to why I call semis "The New Oil".

Today's session is just over 45 minutes and is a highly edited slide presentation. I spent approximately 35 hours creating this video, which includes slideshow design, production, and editing. This doesn't include the countless hours I have spent in my lifetime researching this sector. As you know, my portfolio is heavily concentrated in software and semiconductors, and I'm hopeful that this video, and the previous two videos on cloud, will provide understanding as to why I'm so bullish on these sectors.
